DENIME’s Lot 232XX-54 brings the 1954 Type II jacket into focus with cloth from the XX Series, where Kurabo rebuilt yarns after studying vintage banner-era denim. The result is a 7.3×7.3 selvedge made with a brown-cotton blend, chosen to mimic the irregular thread geometry and warm cast found in early XX. The jacket follows 1954 lines: pleated front for ease, twin chest pockets with pointed flaps, tidy side adjusters, and a clean, slightly shorter length that layers naturally. Stitching and seam allowances are tuned to period practice so the fabric moves and breaks in like an original. It reads classic on day one and gains clear highs and lows as the cotton opens with wear.
