Lot 224-66M - DENIME '66' Mother Cotton Model - Natural

DENIME’s Lot 224-66M shows XX as it began, built from a brown cotton “mother cotton” blend rather than an indigo-dyed warp. The warp is woven on GL3 looms without rope dyeing, so the fabric holds a natural tone and the irregular yarn shape reads clearly. Sewing follows the 1970s 66 Model with authentic seam allowances and stitch balance, and the silhouette tracks those era lines with a balanced rise and a clean straight leg. Kurabo spins the yarn to a 7.3×7.3 count to mirror the uneven thread geometry identified in banner-era analysis, which gives the cloth a warm cast and quiet grain. It starts dry and sturdy, then blooms with wear as the cotton opens and the highs and lows come forward.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 in this denim. He was able to wear his typical size without any real issues in the waist, even though it is specing a bit small in the charts. The extra room in the legs, we would consider a classic straight, allows you to basically get the waist right and go from there. Keep in mind that these are non-wash and have a pretty hefty shrink rate. So buy em big. Tommy is 5'10," 162lbs with a 33-34" waist, and his typical North American size is a 32.
