Crosscut Flannel - Black Ombré Plaid

The Crosscut Flannel has been a cornerstone of the collection for over 15 years. This season’s version uses soft yarns with natural variation, woven in Japan into a subtle ombré pattern with a textured hand. After construction, each shirt is washed to reduce shrinkage and further soften the fabric, resulting in an exceptionally comfortable flannel with an ideal midweight feel for the transition from winter into spring.

Signature details remain intact, including the crossed back yoke and black enamel-coated fisheye buttons that chip and patina with wear. It’s one of the softest Crosscuts we’ve handled, with depth in both color and texture.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in this knit shirt. While the chest read roomy, this felt like the right size for him. The rest of the silhouette has a pretty tailored cut, so we would recommend buying one size up. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
