The BDU has been on our list of hopeful returns from 3sixteen for a couple of years now. Since the last iteration, they've changed the cut to fit just the way we like. They've taken inspiration from vintage US Army battle dress uniforms. They've utilized this luscious back satin fabric with the slightest amount of nep. It will age and fade beautifully like your favorite vintage military garments. The piece is also super functional. The four visible front pockets also feature hidden handwarmer pockets. It goes great as a top layer in the milder months and can be layered with a top coat in the coldest. This olive wonder is a welcome addition to any closet.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large in the BDU Jacket. 3sixteen fits him extremely well in size large, and that is likely what he would buy in this piece. For layering, we find we always prefer to have it a little big vs a little small, so we would recommend buying one size up in this piece to accomplish that! Tommy is 5'10," 170lbs with a 40" chest.
