The Yurai Regular Straight from Tanuki uses one of the most expressive fabrics in their lineup - a 16.5oz natural indigo selvedge denim with a cobalt-dyed weft. The color alone sets this pair apart, with a cool, luminous tone that subtly shifts depending on the light. The weave is loose and full of texture, with a soft, fuzzy hand that gives the denim a warm, organic feel right from the start. With wear, the natural indigo warp fades to lighter indigo while the cobalt weft continues to shine through, producing wild, high-contrast fade patterns that are anything but typical. Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 33 in the pictures. The regular straight is one of those where getting the waist is probably most important. We recommend sizing up at least once from what you normally wear, unless you already know your Tanuki size. Tommy is 5'10," 162lbs with a 33-34" waist depending on the rise.
