The Studio D’Artisan SP-114  is a 45th-anniversary release that embodies the brand’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship and sustainable innovation. Crafted from 15oz selvedge denim, this jacket features both warp and weft yarns made from Foxfibre® Colorganic® cotton - a naturally brown, organically grown cotton developed by Sally Fox. The warp is dyed with natural indigo using the traditional Japanese kasezome (skein dyeing) method, resulting in a deep, rich hue that will develop unique fades over time. The fabric is woven with low tension, giving it a distinctive texture and character. The jacket is finished with eco-friendly details, including nut buttons and the absence of metal rivets, emphasizing its organic construction. In a break from classic Type II or Type III silhouettes, the SP-114 features angular, flapless chest pockets and side-entry hand pockets - a pocket design unique to this model that gives it a cleaner, modern look while retaining its rugged character. Fit Notes: Studio has a really trim fit in general. Tommy is wearing a 42 in this jacket which fits well, but he could easily have worn a size 44. It has a more traditional cut than the boxier type ii's we usually see. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
