SMN25-01W - Elemental Flannel Shirt - Black

The Elemental Flannel Shirt is built from a heavyweight flannel woven in Niigata Prefecture, an area long admired for its mastery of yarn-dyed fabrics. The cloth is made using unusually thick yarns more commonly associated with heavyweight denim, giving the fabric a sense of density and presence right away. To support that weight, the warp yarns are twinned for added strength, while slub yarns in the weft create an uneven, tactile texture that brings the surface to life.

Once woven, the fabric is lightly brushed, softening the hand and giving it a visual character that recalls classic wool serge while remaining entirely cotton. That balance of texture and wearability is what makes this flannel special. Cut as a straightforward work shirt with patch chest pockets and custom buttons, the design stays out of the way and lets the fabric speak.
