Studio D’Artisan SD-1002 “GL3” Selvedge Jeans introduces a new chapter in the brand’s standard lineup, built on the GL3 shuttle loom that followed the legendary G3 in Japan’s denim history. Woven at low tension using No.7 super slub yarn, this 15oz unsanforized selvedge has pronounced vertical texture and deep rope-dyed indigo that will break in with strong contrast. The fabric carries real character from day one and only gets better as the indigo chips and the slub peaks start to show. Cut in a loose straight silhouette, the SD-1002 balances room through the top block with a clean, steady leg opening that keeps the profile classic.

Fit Notes: These fit like a traditional pair of Studio D'artisan, which is smaller than most brands. Tommy is wearing a 34, which is his normal size. These fit absolutely spot on. The Loose Straight has plenty of room in the leg, like we like it. So, just get that waist right, and you should be fine. We would recommend sizing up at least once in this denim. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
