Samue Jacket Kendo - Fade Indigo

The Graph Zero Samue Kendo Fade Jacket takes direct inspiration from traditional kendo uniforms, translating their layered structure and utilitarian construction into a wearable outer layer. The fabric is dense and heavily textured, with an open, breathable weave that gives the jacket visual depth and a dry, tactile hand. Quilted paneling reinforces high-wear areas while adding dimensional contrast across the body and sleeves.

The wrap-style front with tie closure nods to classic samue and martial garments, allowing the jacket to sit naturally on the body without stiffness. Large front patch pockets balance the proportions and reinforce the workwear influence. Cut with a relaxed silhouette and raglan sleeves, the jacket wears comfortably through the shoulders and chest, making it easy to layer while maintaining its distinctive shape and texture.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a lare int he images. This is one of those silhouettes that could fit a variety of wearers. He could have easily worn a medium for a more trim fit. With wide fit jeans, the large would be great, but as you can see from the images, with a slimmer fit jean the large is too big. This is one of the rare pieces from Graph Zero that fits like this, so pay attention to the size charts. And keep in mind it does have an adjustable set of buttons and a tie-closure. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 40" chest.
