Recycled Cotton Foxfibre® Ringer T - Sand

The Foxfibre® Ringer T-Shirt takes a familiar mid-century athletic staple and rebuilds it with some seriously thoughtful materials. The body fabric starts with recycled cotton collected during the yarn spinning process. These are the lightest, softest fibers normally discarded during production, spun back into a yarn that produces an airy knit with a naturally broken-in feel. The result is a soft 185 GSM jersey with a subtle heathered character, created by blending beige and grey fibers directly into the yarn.

Where this piece really separates itself is in the ringer trim. Instead of dyed cotton, the collar and sleeve cuffs use Foxfibre® cotton, an organically grown cotton that grows in its natural color. That means the contrast trim is created entirely without dyes. The combination of recycled cotton in the body and naturally colored Foxfibre® at the edges keeps the classic ringer look intact while pushing the material story in a much more intentional direction.

Construction is handled with the same attention to detail. A binder neck rib reinforces the collar, while flat side seams sewn on vintage Union Special machines create a smooth, durable finish. The shirt is rinse-washed to soften the fabric and minimize shrinkage. At 185 GSM, it sits right in that sweet spot where it feels breathable and easy to wear but still substantial enough to hold its shape. Made in Japan.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size large this round. That's his standard Wonder Looper size, which is what we recommend you stick with. These are a bit ore forgiving than the heavier weight options, so if you like a classic fit, you can likely stick with your true size. Plus, they've got that rinse wash that should help protect against further shrinkage. Tommy is our standard fit model at 5'9" 165lbs with a 41" chest.
