Warehouse went deep into 19th century archives for this one. The Greenebaum Brothers Duck Stripe represents one of the earliest West Coast workwear fabrics, predating a lot of what we typically associate with American denim. Greenebaum wasn’t just working in denim, they were importing goods from Europe and developing bold striped duck cloth that stood apart from the competition. This reproduction captures that moment with precision.
The 10x10 sulfur-dyed selvedge duck stripe has real presence. It’s sturdy and textured, but breathable in a way that reminds you this was designed for hard labor in a different era. The striping feels graphic and bold, especially in motion. Original metal buttons and a proper iron buckle finish it with the kind of hardware that feels period-correct rather than decorative. This is early American workwear before it was romanticized, recreated the way Warehouse does best.

These trousers are unsanforized, meaning it is a shrink-to-fit. Due to this, we recommend buying 2 sizes bigger than the size you're aiming for on final shrink. Please keep in mind that after the first wash these will typically shrink by approximately 6 cm (2.4 inches) in the waist and length.
Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a 32 in these pants. While these fit great for now, he would buy at least a size 33 in order to account for the shrink rate. Luckily this fit is quite roomy everywhere else, so if you can get the waist calculations right, you should be golden on the rest of the fit. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
