This wool jersey smog shirt is built from a dense, compressed knit made with wool ring yarn, then finished under high heat and pressure to create structure and surface character. Ring yarn stabilizes wool by twisting it around a strong core, preserving softness while adding durability. The result has the visual firmness of Melton with a more flexible hand. The design references classic groundskeeper smog shirts, featuring a drawcord collar, reinforced stress points, flap pockets, and adjustable cuffs. An elastic spindle at the hem allows the oversized silhouette to be shaped or worn loose.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large by rule from Jackman. He likes the roomier fit and it accounts for shrinkage. His size and weight would make him a Medium in this, but he prefers more room in everything these days. We recommend sticking with your true size on this one unless you're looking for a boxier fit. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 41" chest.
