The Big Loop Collarless Jacket is built with the same intent as a top-tier sweatshirt, just pushed further. The outer yarn is organic cotton air-spun for a dry, resilient surface, while the fleece interior is knitted slowly on vintage loopwheel machines in Japan. The knitting structure is carefully tuned, with deliberate control over density and loop size, resulting in a fabric that feels unusually substantial, closer to a finely woven rug than a conventional sweatshirt knit.

Despite the weight and structure, the jacket retains the natural softness loopwheel knitting is known for. It’s durable, shape-stable, and designed to improve with wear rather than break down. The collarless design pulls inspiration from vintage baseball uniforms, giving it a clean neckline and an unmistakably athletic but refined character. Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a large by rule from Jackman. He likes the roomier fit and it accounts for shrinkage. His size and weight would make him a Medium in this, but he prefers more room everything these days. We recommend sizing up once in this jacket. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
