IHJ-123-OD - 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Denim Work Jacket - Indigo Overdyed Black

The Iron Heart 14oz Broken Twill Selvedge Work Jacket starts with a technical foundation that dates back to 1964, when Wrangler first developed broken twill construction to eliminate the fabric twist caused by directional torque in the weaving process. By alternating right hand and left hand twill every two warp ends, the zigzag weave cancels out any directional bias, resulting in a denim that hangs and wears without the leg twist associated with conventional twill. The 14oz selvedge is woven with an indigo rope-dyed warp and white weft, then overdyed post-construction with black sulphur dye, giving the jacket its deep black surface that will fade with indigo-tinged character as the denim breaks in over time. Construction is meticulous throughout, with a two-way YKK zipper with leather pull, copper snap waist cinches, snap closure chest pockets, cotton twill lined hand-warmer pockets, adjustable snap fastened cuffs, and selvedge ID running along the placket.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing an XL in this piece. He always wears this size in IH's denim jackets. You want the extra room for movement. We recommend going up at least once for that reason, even if you think you know your IH size. If you wear a large in the flannel, you'll likely want an XL in this jacket.
