IH-634S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut - Superblack (Fades to Grey)

The 21oz Super Black Fades to Grey denim is the stuff of Iron Heart legend. We’ve been on a black-denim tear lately, so bringing in the king was a no-brainer. This is the same heavyweight, low-tension selvedge you already know and love, but rope-dyed in black sulfur so the warp fades while the reactive-dyed weft stays put. That combo gives you true project-pair potential - slow, gritty, high-contrast aging that feels more like a great pair of indigos than any standard black jean.

What really seals the deal is how wearable they are from day one. The 21oz cloth comes off the loom soft for its weight, thanks to the way it’s woven, and the rinse knocks back the last bit of stiffness. The double-twisted weft helps the denim mold to your body like nothing else, and the over-built Iron Heart construction - belt loops, seams, cuffs, all of it - pushes these into “forever jean” territory. This is Iron Heart at its peak, and one of the strongest pieces in their entire lineup.

Fit Notes: Tommy has been wearing a 34 across the board from Iron Heart. Nearly every fit either fits snugly or just a bit roomy. The 634 fits him more on the roomy side due to its straight cut and roomier top block. We always recommend sizing up once in Iron Heart, and usually even more. Tommy is 5'9," 165bs with a 33-34" waist.
