IH-634-XHSib - 25oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Indigo/Black

These straight-cut jeans are made from Iron Heart’s 25oz XHS indigo/black selvedge denim, an ultra-heavyweight fabric that sits at the extreme edge of what can be woven on a shuttle loom. Rigid and unforgiving when new, this denim demands time and wear to break in, gradually softening and molding to the body while retaining its mass and structure. The fabric is woven with an indigo rope-dyed warp that will fade through wear and washing, paired with a reactive-dyed black weft that remains colorfast, creating high-contrast fades without losing depth on the interior. Designed by Shinichi Haraki and handmade by WORKS INC. in Japan, this is Iron Heart’s classic straight-leg cut executed in its most uncompromising denim.

A variance of +/-.5" is to be expected. 

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy wears a size 36 in these. He preferes his waist to be at least 1" bigger than his true waist, so these fit perfectly in that size. There is a ton of extra room in the thigh and leg, which is needed for a fabric this heavy. Unless you're insane, go up. There is no need to try to stretch out a denim this heavy. Tommy is 5'9", 165lbs with a 33-34" true waist.
