Brewster Shirt Boiled Wool - Dark Grey

The Brewster Cardigan is a utilitarian wool layer that sits somewhere between a heavy knit and a light jacket. It’s straightforward, functional, and intentionally restrained, the kind of piece that doesn’t rely on novelty to make its point. Indigofera built this one to be worn constantly, not rotated carefully.

The fabric is where most of the character lives. Made from boiled merino wool, the knit is compact and dense with a dry, structured hand. Boiling the wool tightens the fibers, giving it natural wind resistance and a weighty feel without becoming stiff or bulky. Indigofera’s Power Wool holds warmth exceptionally well while still breathing, and it settles in with wear rather than losing shape.

Construction stays simple and purposeful. Large sew-on buttons anchor the front and feel substantial in hand. A small shirt style collar keeps the silhouette clean, while ribbed cuffs and hem help the cardigan sit properly, whether worn open or buttoned up. Two front pockets add just enough utility without turning it into something overly busy. Finished in a deep dark grey, Brewster works as an outer layer in mild weather or as a dependable mid-layer once temperatures drop.

Fit Notes:  This shirt sticks to the Indigofera standard of being on the roomy side. Tommy used to try to wear the bigger size in these, but the S/M fits him way better. There's still a little extra room in this piece, but without being super oversized. We recommend you stick with the size you normally wear, so if you're a medium, go with S/M. If you're a large, go with L/XL. Tommy is 5'9", 165lbs with a 40" chest, and typically wears a North American medium.
