6226-L - 14.5oz "Light Waterfall" Selvedge Type III Jacket - Indigo

The Pure Blue Japan Waterfall Denim Type-III jacket builds on the same 14.5oz one-wash Japanese selvedge slub denim woven on low-tension shuttle looms, carrying all the heavily textured, torrential character of the fabric into the more structured Type-III silhouette. The slub construction gives the denim its signature depth and irregularity, and the one-wash finish means it's ready to wear from day one while still having plenty of fading life ahead. Where the Type-II goes streamlined, the Type-III leans into its classic details, knife pleats, more pointed flap pockets, welted hand-warmer pockets at the waist, and waist tab adjusters for a dialed fit. Custom branded iron buttons, a deerskin leather patch, chainstitch construction throughout, and PBJ's signature leaf embroidery along the left side seam complete the package.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 5 in this jacket. He initially pulled out a size six, but it was huge on him. Normally, the 6 is more his speed, but the five was such a better fit this time. Even for a more traditionally slim type iii, it had plenty of room for layering and the right amount of length in the arms and chest. Tommy is 5'9,' 165lbs with a 41" chest.
