Studio D’Artisan took their vintage work shirt pattern and paired it with a fabric that only Okayama could deliver. Woven in Ibara City on a traditional jacquard loom, this 13oz check cloth blends the depth of denim with the intricacy of jacquard weaving. The weight gives it that satisfying SDA structure, but the brushed interior and one-wash finish keep it wearable right out of the box. Nut buttons, selvedge gussets, and a boxy heritage fit round it out into one of the most elevated work shirts they’ve made - a piece that feels like a true bridge between Japanese textile artistry and rugged Americana.
