The Studio D’Artisan 4597 Arrow Kasuri Sashiko Jacket blends traditional Japanese textile craftsmanship with functional design. Made from original Arrow Kasuri indigo sashiko fabric, it features the historic Yagasuri (arrow feather) motif, once worn by samurai. The 100% cotton fabric is woven using a kasuri technique, creating intricate patterns that evolve beautifully with wear. A one-wash treatment enhances the fabric's texture, while a 150g quilt lining provides warmth. Functional elements include large waist pockets, an inner pocket, and metal snap buttons for durability. Custom indigo-dyed piping adds a refined touch, balancing traditional aesthetics with practical wearability. Over time, the indigo will develop a rich patina, making each jacket unique. Fit Notes: Studio has a really trim fit in general, but this jacket is much more boxy. This silhouette is kind of like a coverall, which are always roomier for practical, utility purposes. Tommy is wearing a size 40 which is rare for him in this brand. We would recommend sticking with your true size on this piece. Tommy is 5'10," 165lbs with a 40" chest.
