The SWEETBEAR story goes back to the late 2000s when Post O’Alls introduced a coverall that fused two of the most iconic names in vintage workwear: SWEET-ORR and BLACK BEAR. Both brands were known for their distinctive modified rolling pockets, and the SWEETBEAR design blended elements of each into a single piece. At the time, the concept extended to shirts and short jackets that echoed the coverall’s design language, but matching bottoms were never produced.

This season finally completes that idea with the SWEETBEAR Short. Built as the shorts counterpart to the original coverall, it carries the same workwear DNA while translating it into an easy warm-weather silhouette.

Cut from sage mini HBT cotton and prewashed for comfort, the fabric keeps the classic military texture and durability while feeling broken-in from the start. The result is a pair of shorts that feels rooted in vintage workwear but designed for everyday summer wear.

Fit Notes: As with most Post O'Alls fits, these have a more modern, boxy cut. Tommy is wearing a medium in these and they land just as intended, while maintaining a tailored short look. We would recommend sticking with your true size on these. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
