The California Pegtop is a new addition this season, rooted in a silhouette that gained popularity in the United States during the 1950s. Pegtops are defined by their relaxed upper block and strong taper, achieved here through a no-waistband construction and two front pleats that create room through the hips before narrowing toward the hem.

Designer Takeshi Ohbuchi has long had a soft spot for this style, frequently pairing denim and corduroy pegtops with coveralls throughout the 1980s. The Post O’Alls version keeps the historical foundation intact while refining the details. While traditional pegtops often feature patch pockets at the back, this version swaps them for double welt pockets, giving the trousers a cleaner look that blends easily with both workwear and more tailored pieces.

Cut from 100% cotton and prewashed for comfort, the California Pegtop carries vintage inspiration with everyday practicality.
