This version is based on a vintage example owned by designer Takeshi Ohfuchi for roughly four decades, refined carefully while preserving the original spirit and proportions.

What sets this model apart is the band collar, conceived as a reinterpretation of a detachable collar removed entirely. That small shift gives the shirt a cleaner neckline and a slightly more relaxed presence without losing its workwear foundation. Cut from a tobacco-toned heather flannel, the fabric brings warmth and softness while keeping the design straightforward and versatile. Finished with classic details like a pen slot at the left chest pocket and gussets at the hem, it’s a quietly distinctive piece that wears easily on its own or layered.
