A short-length chore jacket inspired by early‑1900s workwear, crafted from 100% No. 9 heavy duck canvas that’s been persimmon (“kakishibu”) tannin–dyed in Shiga Prefecture. The traditional dyeing process not only imparts a warm, rich brown tone but also enhances durability, water resistance, and develops a rugged patina - darkening with heat, sun, and rain. Featuring a collar without lapel, original "change" buttons dating from the 1930s-era design, and three shaped patch pockets, this jacket is built for functional style. The compact profile makes it ideal for layering and pairs seamlessly with the matching work pants.
