15oz Skein Dyed Slubby Blue Indigo Selvedge - Type II Denim Jacket

This Type 2 denim jacket from Graph Zero is built from a 15oz raw selvedge denim woven on a traditional power loom and left completely untreated. There is no anti-shrink processing, no anti-twist control, and no singeing, allowing the fabric to retain a rough, handwoven-like character that feels genuinely vintage. The warp yarns are skein dyed using two different indigo tones and woven together at random, while the weft uses natural yarn. Both warp and weft are spun with slub yarn, producing a rugged surface and uneven texture that is unmistakably Graph Zero.

As the jacket wears in, the skein dyed indigo fades in a way that differs noticeably from rope dyed denim, developing softer transitions and more irregular contrast. This model features a rare T back construction, a detail seldom seen even on early first-generation denim jackets, carried forward here as a Graph Zero exclusive second-generation design. Stitch density and tension are adjusted panel by panel, resulting in a finish that feels deliberate and highly refined despite the fabric’s raw, textured nature.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing an 46 in the images. This is slim like many of the other jackets. Tommy couldn't have gone any smaller than the 44 in this piece. While the chest on all of these jackets seem roomy, the other measurements remain small. We recommend buying one to two sizes larger than you normally wear. That worked out best for him. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 40" chest.
