What keeps us coming back for the Frankenstein denim every time it's produced? For starters, it is one of the most unique denims on the planet - hands down. There is simply nothing else like it. They produce this denim by switching the direction of the twill every two inches. This left-hand, right-hand pattern creates a visible blocking that leaves most observers questioning the nature of the fabric.
Secondly, we came for the fabric, but we stayed for the fades. Because N&F has had several interactions of this fabric over the years, you can find faded examples of them in blogs and forums. The combination. of big slub yarns that alternate between thick and thin add even more texture to this denim that naturally skews over time.
Most modern denim goes through an anti-skewing process that removes the twist, but it's not possible with this denim. The good news, you have opposing forces pulling in two different directions that keep the denim straight while giving the added bonus of unmissable texture. Some may overlook this denim because it doesn't have a selvedge edge, but we think that's a major mistake as the Revival Frankenstein makes an incredible wardrobe addition for collectors and fashion heads, alike.

Fit Notes: Tommy is wearing a size 33 waist in these. For being a 14oz denim, these still have a fair amount of starch that gives a wonderful shape to the denim. The true guy falls pretty straight from the waist, so if you get the waist right, the rest will fall in line. We would recommend buying one size up from what you're used to from regular denim, and buying your true size if you already know your N&F fit. Tommy is 5'10", 165lbs with a 33-34" waist.
*The True Guy is a straight-leg fit with a medium rise along with extra room in the seat and thigh that falls straight from knee to hem.*
