1178-ID - Sashiko Denim Regular Fit - Indigo x Black

Pure Blue Japan’s 1178-ID brings their signature sashiko weaving into a bold indigo x black combination. Woven on vintage jacquard looms, the fabric layers an indigo warp over a black weft, producing a richly textured surface with striking depth that reveals more contrast as it fades. The Regular Straight cut offers a relaxed top block with a clean line through the leg, striking a balance between comfort and structure. Every element reflects PBJ’s detail-driven craftsmanship, from custom nickel buttons and copper rivets to raised belt loops, chain-stitched hems, the indigofera leaf embroidery, and a deerskin leather patch.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy popped up to a 34 in these. That tends to be his standard starting point from PBJ. These have a little extra room in the waist for him with a fairly straight cut through the leg. We like to have more room than less these days, so the waist was no issue for him. Tommy is 5'10,' 162lbs with a 33-34" waist.
