The Engineer's Jacket is the second Post O’Alls jacket ever produced. Designed in 1993 to be the pinnacle of 1930s-style 4-pocket railroad jackets it is the completed version of a standard railroad jacket in terms of functionality and mood. The 2024FW version is offered in this incredible Crinkle Nylon Taffeta fabric (if you can't tell, we have a thing for it). The Crinkle Nylon Taffeta, with its wrinkled texture/treatment, is an item that can maximize the joy of Post O’Alls' signature layering style and is suitable for inner, mid, and outer layering. The dual-tone stitching is an added touch that not everyone will see but givesd you joy every time you pull it from the closet. It's one of those little details that isn't necessary but shows they're going the extra mile. The geometric pockets and colorful bartacks make this piece more than just another navy jacket.
