ONI-KASE is an innovative denim developed exclusively by ONI Denim, combining traditional natural indigo kase-zome hank dyeing with a rope-dyed core-white structure. While classic kase-zome dyeing penetrates the yarn core and prevents fading, ONI’s approach preserves a white core, allowing the fabric to age and fade with real contrast over time. The unevenness inherent to kase-zome dyeing creates rich, three-dimensional color shading across the surface. Cut in a simple coverall silhouette, the design features a chest pocket, two waist patch pockets, and cuffless sleeves finished with a three-fold construction similar to a jeans hem, a detail drawn from early 20th-century workwear. This incredible, rare iteration of ONI denim is polished off with a gorgeous work of art in the form of a pocket flasher.

Fit Notes: Shop owner Tommy is wearing a size 42 in this jacket. He's used to wearing a 42 in these jackets across the board. This jacket was a pleasantly boxy cut. The coverall is meant to fit with a roomier body and longer torso, but you can totally make it more tailored if you prefer. We would recommend sizing up just once on this if you don't know your size, or buying your standard ONI size if you do. Tommy is 5'9," 165lbs, with a 40" chest.
