The body is cut from a vintage reverse sateen fabric with a pronounced horizontal texture that gives the shirt its depth and character. The fabric has been washed and aged to bring out a broken-in look that feels intentional and earned from the first wear.

The four-pocket layout is where this piece really shines. To contrast the horizontal sateen, the patch pockets are made from herringbone twill and cut on a vertical bias, creating a subtle but striking visual shift. The darker olive tone, combined with the opposing textures, gives the shirt a layered, period-correct feel that recalls classic military fatigues while pushing the design forward. It works easily as a second layer, but has enough presence to stand on its own as a final layer.

Fit Notes: This shirt fits pretty standard issue. Tommy is wearing a (2) in the pictures as the some of the shirts and coats have been fitting quite roomy. In this piece, he would likely choose to size up once to the (3). We think the vintaging process shrunk the fabric quite a bit. So we recommend buying one up from what you normally wear from orSlow. Tommy is 5'9," 165bs with a 41" chest.
