The Story

orSlow's Used Wash fabrics are among the best denim washes we've ever handled. The Used Wash is slightly heavier than the "Two Year Wash" as seen in the patch at the nape of the neck. This jacket isn't just stoned-washed in batches but individually attended to in order to ensure all details are accurate and natural.

We've now completed the Orslow Type Jacket trifecta. It was only a matter of time until we brought in the Type I, and my goodness are we glad we did. To the untrained eye, you could hold up all 3 jackets and someone might say "Those are the same." To the trained, elevated eye they are vastly different. If you take a look at the aging done to these jackets, you can see that the further back in history the jacket goes, the more heavily they fade it to match that passage of time. This is by far the most bleached-out, roached-out version of their denim tops and we love it. The type I will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it was the first. The details of that time shine including the t-back and cinch. You can also always distinguish a type I because it will only ever have one pocket. Our favorite detail on this has to be that super beat-up leather patch. These are gorgeous from top to bottom.

A variance of +/- .5" is within tolerance.

Fit Notes: The orSlow Type II jacket runs small by our standards - this is majorly in part to its short hem. Tommy is seen wearing a size (3) here. If you want that vintage look and are cool with the shorter hem, start with a size 3 as if it were a small medium and work from there. Tommy would likely purchase a size (5) in this unit and go with a very oversized look. He is 5'10", 170lbs with a 40" chest.
